Ecologist and translator passionate about biodiversity conservation, bringing a unique perspective that blends scientific expertise, multilingual skills, and a critical understanding of global environmental challenges. With a Master's degree in Ecology, I combine academic rigor with hands-on experience in field research and data analysis. My work as a professional translator of scientific content has sharpened my ability to communicate complex scientific concepts across cultural and linguistic boundaries, fostering dialogue between researchers, communities, and policymakers.
My approach to conservation is rooted in the belief that environmental stewardship must go hand in hand with social justice and community empowerment. I am deeply interested in the decolonization of conservation practices, community-based conservation models, and finding ways to reconcile land rights and peoples' self-determination with biodiversity protection. This perspective informs my use of technical skills in data analysis, GIS applications, and AI technologies, which I see as tools to support and amplify community-led conservation efforts.
Driven by a commitment to both environmental and social sustainability, I seek opportunities to contribute to impactful conservation initiatives that recognize the interconnectedness of ecological and human systems. My goal is to work with organizations that are at the forefront of reimagining conservation – those that value local knowledge, promote equitable practices, and strive for innovative, inclusive solutions to our planet's environmental challenges.
Experience in translation, revision, and editing of texts for scientific publications in the fields of ecology, biodiversity, medicine, and human sciences.
